Easy bread

30mins, 200c / 180c fan

Ingredients

480g strong bread flour
7g sachet fast-action yeast
1tsp salt
2tbsp olive oil
1tbsp clear honey
300ml hand-hot water

Method

Tip flour, yeast and salt into a large bowl

Combine the oil and honey into the water

Slowly add the liquid mix into the bowl, stirring to combine

After all combined into a ball, pour onto a floured surface

knead for 5-10 minutes, using more flour to help

knead until no longer sticky

Cover the bowl with flour or oil, put ball back in

Cover bowl with a tea towel

Leave to rise for 2 hours until double in size

Bat down slowly to let the air out, then seperate into flat cob shapes onto floured baking tray

Cover and leave to rise for another 2 hours

Cook for 30 minutes on 200c / 180c

Leave for minimum 5 minutes after removing from the oven.
