Sausage and tomato pasta

25mins, no oven


4 thick sausages, cut into bite-sized chunks
2 garlic cloves - crushed
200ml medium white wine
1 tbsp tomato puree
400g can chopped tomatoes
500g rigatoni or penne
2 tsp basil
parmesan, to serve


Heat oil in a heavy non-stick pan and add the sausage chunks

Fry for about 8mins, add the garlic for 1min

Pour in the white wine and boil until reduced by half

Stir in the tomatoes and puree and season to taste

Simmer for 15mins

Meanwhile, boil the pasta to pack instructions
